Pete Schneider was named as Lakes Women's Head Coach in May 2009.  Coach Schneider came from Mundelein High School where he spent the last 5 years coaching the Sophomores to winning seasons.  Coach is well known in the basketball community.  Besides his coaching, Coach Schneider has run numerous camps, hosted coaching clinics, started and runs the Northern Illinois Girls Feeder Basketball Association, operated his own summer club teams and has worked with many youth and college players.  Coach Schneider beleives the most enjoyable part of coaching is building relationships with so many great young people. Do not be suprised to see Coach at any sporting or event that any of his players are particiapatiing in.

Coach Schneider has been married for 25 years to Andi and they have two adult children. Christi graduated from Ripon College and is teaching in the Waukegan School District.  Dan is a junior at Universty of Wisconsin Stevens Point where he is majoring in business/economics.

Coach Brian Cardarella was named as Assistant Varsity Coach in 2009.  Coach Cardarella has been at Lakes High School for the past 5 years and has held several coaching positions.  Coach Schneider is looking forward to working with Coach Cardarella, as he brings a lighter side and some good knowledge of the game. 

Coach Cardarella is married to Meghan.
